A renovation of the existing Sanders-Brown Center on Aging /Neuroscience Facilities building on UK’s campus. The project consists of replacing the exterior facade for both the 1976 original building and the 1996 addition as well as miscellaneous work on the inside. Features of this facility include wet and dry bench research labs, administrative spaces, and faculty offices. 

Most of the existing precast facade will be demolished and replaced by glass curtain wall. The structure for the facade support consists of structural steel framing that cantilevers out from the existing concrete frame. There is also a concrete floor slab extension that is supported by steel angles and beams.
