Dedicated to advancing the training and performance of the University of Kentucky’s track and field and cross-country teams, the Jim Green Indoor Track & Field Center features a state-of-the-art 200-meter banked track that meets NCAA and SEC indoor championship standards.
 

Adjacent to the UK Outdoor Track and Shively Sports Center, the facility includes specialized areas for sprints, distance running, pole vault, and throws, along with warm-up zones and athlete amenities. The center is named in honor of Jim Green, the first African American student-athlete at Kentucky to win both SEC and NCAA championships, recognizing his pioneering contributions to collegiate athletics.​​​​​​​​​​​​​
