The $36.0 M renovation and expansion of the Adron Doran University Center at Morehead State University includes the renovation of the existing 3-story building plus a 3-story, 87,000 sq ft addition to the east. The structure for the addition is proposed to be 2 stories of reinforced cast-in-place concrete with a long span structural steel top story to accommodate a large ballroom.

It is also proposed to remove the existing building’s marble veneer and replace it with traditional brick and limestone to better fit with the architectural context of the surrounding campus facilities.
