The Marksbury Family Branch, a new public library for the city of Lexington, offers a range of versatile spaces including a large community meeting room, multipurpose room, Makerspace, library areas, and small group study rooms. Its two-story open space and outdoor amphitheater provide the perfect setting for hosting a wide variety of community events, such as large gatherings, presentations, parties, gaming tournaments, and art fairs.

The structure consists of composite steel floor deck, a steel moment frame lateral system, and features slanted columns supporting a large, cantilevered section of floor above main entrance.
