A 2-story Advanced Manufacturing and Information Technology Center on the Jefferson Technical Campus in Louisville. The AMIT facility includes open floor plan training spaces, new classrooms, lounge/entry area, and support spaces. The new building teaches Machines, Robotics, Motor Controls, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Industrial Electronics, and PLC controls. All systems and spaces were designed with the intention to provide for flexibility in the event the instructional requirements change.


The foundation system consists of shallow spread footings. The building structure is a steel frame with a lateral force resisting system that is composed of concentrically braced steel frames.
