LEED Certified

A $12.5 M, 2-story, 58,000 sq ft steel frame Advanced Manufacturing & Information Technology Center on the Jefferson Technical Campus in Louisville. The AMIT facility will include open floor plan training spaces, new classrooms, lounge/entry area, and support spaces.  The new building is scheduled to teach Machines, Robotics, Motor Controls, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Industrial Electronics, and PLC controls. All systems and spaces were designed with the intention to provide for flexibility in the event the instructional requirements change.


The foundation system consists of shallow spread footings. The building structure is a steel frame.  The lateral force resisting system is composed of concentrically braced steel frames.
