CONTRACTOR
A $56.0 M, 4-story renovation and expansion to the existing College of Law building for the University of Kentucky. New interior spaces include tiered seating classrooms and courtrooms, divisible classrooms, library, study spaces, social lounge, offices, conference rooms, and two feature stair systems.
Architectural and mechanical components of the existing building were completely removed leaving an existing concrete frame structural skeleton. With due consideration for sustainability and
cost savings, the project utilizes selective demolition of existing structure only where necessary. The remainder of the existing structural system is incorporated into the finished design. New addition portions of the structure are comprised of structural
steel framing.
