A $20.2 M, 4-story new Computer Science, Digital Media, and Information Systems and Services (IS&S) Center building on Berea College’s Campus. This facility features cutting-edge computing laboratories, an innovative maker space, classrooms, digital media spaces, a sound stage, on-air studio, offices, and common areas.
 

The structure consists of structural steel framing with concrete slab on metal floor deck supported by composite steel beams. The roof structure consists of a gable style roof with metal roof deck supported by cold-formed metal trusses. The lateral system consists of moment frames. The foundation system is rock-bearing shallow footings
along with a concrete retaining wall with retaining wall footings along the south façade of the building. There is also an exterior precast concrete stair entrance with concrete access ramps supported by concrete walls on shallow footings.
