A $2.0 M, 6,100 sq ft, 1-story multi-building expansion for the Waterfront Botanical Garden’s maintenance and educational needs. The facility features a multi-purpose classroom event space, private courtyard, educational greenhouse and supporting workspace and storage.

The wood-framed structure has exposed glulam ridge beams along with vaulted ceilings with exposed wood decking and rafters. Unique challenges included the design of a structural slab system supported by grade beams and a driven pipe pile deep foundation system on a reclaimed abandoned landfill site.
