PROJECT FACTS

Fast-track Structure Design (8 weeks duration)

New 3-story, 65,000 sq ft, office and dining facility at Eastern Kentucky University.  The structural system consists of composite steel beams supporting concrete slab on metal deck.  Steel X-bracing is used for the lateral load resisting system.

Foundations consist of rock bearing footings and drilled piers to rock.  A full building length retaining wall makes up the northern perimeter wall for the first story level.
