"In my younger years, I played high school football and basketball for the Wheelersburg Pirates and was cocaptain of the 1984 Ohio Class AA State Runners-up. I played three years for Case Western, with a memorable game in the fall of 1985 at the US Naval Academy where I scored twelve points before being knocked out of the game early in the second half by Navy center and legend David Robinson! With roots in Ohio, I remain a rabid fan of the Ohio State University Buckeyes. Nowadays I love to travel, and I love photography. Hawaii, Alaska, Wyoming, and Oregon are favorite US destinations, with Costa Rica, Banff, Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal as favorite foreign trips. My wife Pat and I love to hike, sightsee, learn the history of our destinations, and enjoy local food and drink, while capturing it all on film.” – Craig
