A new $5.7 M, 1-story municipal building for the city of Elsmere, Kentucky that houses the Elsmere Police Department and City Administration Services. Features of the facility include a partial basement and a sallyport that is designed to be a storm shelter for emergencies.  
 

The structure consists of a metal deck roof bearing on steel joists supported by an interior steel frame and perimeter load-bearing masonry walls.  

The first floor structure over the partial basement is composite slab on metal deck supported by an interior steel frame and perimeter concrete basement walls.
