The new Bullitt County Central Library features conference rooms, a digital media lab, exhibit spaces, a local history room, a maker lab, meeting rooms, children’s and teen spaces, study rooms, self-checkout stations, and rooftop solar panels.

This 1-story steel framed building used a highly repetitive frame layout for an economical structure. The regular grid was rotated with respect to the programming to give the impression of an angular design. Steel braced frames featured cast steel connections which were expressed as part of the architect’s intent.
