"My family can typically be found in the backyard, with the kids in the baby pool and a meal on the grill. In no particular order, my top favorite things to do include watching movies on the couch with my family, skiing in Snowbird, Utah, catching up on the latest happenings at a family get-together, mountain biking in Cherokee Park, testing my creative ability in front of a canvas or potter’s wheel, trying something new at restaurants with close friends, and exploring the world with my wife." – Andy
About Andy
Andy joined BK in January 2006, spending the first ten years of his career in the Lexington office. He also previously worked as a project manager for a large, regional construction company. Andy moved back to his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, to start a new branch office for BK in 2015. He manages the office and became a principal in the firm in 2016. Andy is tasked with business and employee development while helping guide the company’s vision. Andy considers his favorite design project to be the Speed Art Museum, for its long cantilevers and elegant, modern aesthetic, and his greatest achievement to be the design of the Kentucky International Convention Center, for its complex and diverse structural systems.
