A new recreation center for Alice Lloyd College completed in two phases to provide modern recreational and athletic spaces for students. The facility features two gymnasiums, a fitness center, aerobics studio, student lounge, video gaming center, and a recreation area with pool tables, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, and arcade games.

Phase I consisted of a two-story facility featuring a second-floor gymnasium, along with student recreation areas, fitness spaces, and support functions. Phase II expanded the facility with a large, at-grade gymnasium designed for athletic events and included a suspended walking/running track overlooking the court.

The structure consists of masonry bearing walls and a structural steel frame with special profile open-web joists spanning the recreation spaces. An architecturally detailed structural steel walking track is supported from the roof structure. Foundations consisted of cantilever and buttressed foundation walls and drilled piers.
